Ok I have a huge request and i'm looking at you kate! I love love love the Keefla that grandma A used to make, but I'm afraid no one has it anymore. Or was it minnie that used to make it? Either way, that's something I would love to learn how to do.
Also, still looking for a good key lime pie recipe
This isn't really an old family recipe, but, does anyone have a good recipe for flan? Definitely want a sturdy one as I am going to cut it into the shape of a letter.
Most flan recipes are pretty standard, unless you are looking for a flavored one, or something unique. I would check out Saveur.com for a good recipe. Or you could go to foodgawker.com to search a lot of the food blogs out there. Also, would like more info on why in the world you are cutting a flan into the shape of a letter???
